Sara May Evans, Founder, Proprietor & Holistic Wellness Advocate

Herbalist | Functional Medicine Coach
Meet Sara May Evans, the founder, creator, and guiding force behind Pavona Parlor. Sara has cultivated Pavona Parlor as a unique holistic wellness center and experience studio. Her vision is built on a foundation of fostering genuine, lasting relationships with both her clients and her team, creating an environment of trust, empathy, and unparalleled care
Sara's entire business philosophy is guided by a simple, powerful mantra: "Always do the right thing."
Her approach to wellness is backed by extensive professional experience. With over 20 years spent creating and building brands in the life sciences space, Sara brings a deep understanding of scientific efficacy and pure-ingredient innovation. As a certified Herbalist and Functional Medicine Coach, her focus is on comprehensive whole-body care, understanding that vibrant, healthy skin is a direct reflection of internal well-being. This philosophy is the creative force behind her proprietary product lines, Pavonaceuticals and Pavona Botanicals, which are meticulously designed to deliver clean, pure, and effective results.
Sara's passion for clean, high-efficacy wellness is profoundly personal. As a cancer survivor who has also navigated hormonal and metabolic syndrome, she knows firsthand the critical importance of pure, non-toxic ingredients. This journey was shaped by her family's history—while her mother is a fellow cancer survivor, her paternal family was deeply impacted by cancer and Alzheimer's. This experience fuels her unwavering commitment to creating treatments and products she can trust for herself, her family, and her clients.
Sara's connection to the Beaufort community is deep and personal. She is the proud daughter of a veteran buried in the Beaufort National Cemetery and the mother of an active duty serviceman in the US Navy. She is also a mother to a deceased daughter, a part of her story that deepens her commitment to empathetic and supportive care. This connection to service and community inspires her passion for growing and cultivating local talent, investing back into the home she loves.
When she isn't at the studio, Sara is a passionate lover of animals and nature. She lives in Beaufort, SC, with her husband and their three beloved aussiedoodles: Beau (named for their cherished town), Maisie, and Duke.
